The Australian Hotel is a superb example of Edwardian/Federation style architecture built in 1913.  Its licence has been in continual use since the early 1800s. The Australian Gourmet Pizza Bar is situated at the top of The Rocks. This is the only pub in Sydney where you can get Scharers' Lager and Burraborang Bock, brewed at Scharers' Little Brewery in Picton. It also has a unique selection of Australian cuisine,including emu, kangaroo and crocodile pizzas, plus soup and pies in winter.
