The Rocks Markets
Open every Saturday and Sunday year round, The Rocks Markets is about more than just shopping-it's a Sydney institution.
Set amid the sandstone and cobbles, the colourful markets have grown to include more than 200 eclectic stalls. Visitors from near and far come to find fashion and accessories by emerging designers, locally-produced homewares, linen and beauty products and original photography, art, crafts and jewellery.
Many stallholders have been at the markets since the beginning so chances are you'll know a few faces. But that doesn't mean things always stay the same, in fact quite the opposite. There are always new stallholders and special fashion, food or craft events.
At the weekend market you'll find whatever you want-lazy strolls, a great meeting place or serious shopping-that's just the way it is around here.
