Awarded a Chef Hat by the Australian Good Food Guide 2023, Bay Nine offers an immersive dining experience that continues to win fans the world over.
A culinary art form that showcases the finest ingredients, Bay Nine chefs present authentic Japanese cuisine with a contemporary twist. Unlike its neighbours, there’s no menu here. 'Omakase' loosely translates to "I'll leave it up to you" — and you'll be entrusting your dining experience to our experienced chefs.
Leave the decisions to the chef
Enjoy an intimate experience where the chefs determine the menu based on the day’s produce. Choose from an Omakase counter experience featuring an 11-course menu, with our chefs personally introducing each dish and sharing the inspiration behind its creation. For those seeking a more private dining experience, the Restaurant offers an 8-course Omakase service as an intimate table service. Ideal for occasions such as business luncheons or romantic date nights, this service is designed for groups of four or for couples looking to indulge in a memorable culinary experience.
The intimate dining room features just a few tables and a cosy 10-seater counter for your dining experience. To accompany your Japanese food, there's an extensive sake menu and a large range of Japanese spirits to choose from.
