Little Mobs Tent – National Indigenous Art Fair 2025
Celebrate the first weekend of the July school holidays with a joyful, hands-on cultural experience at the Little Mobs Tent, part of the National Indigenous Art Fair 2025.
Taking place on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 July, this free program of drop in activities invites children and families to explore art, nature, dance and storytelling, all guided by First Nations artists and Elders. It’s a unique opportunity for young visitors to connect with culture through creativity and play.
From ochre painting and gumnut jewellery-making to shellwork, bushfoods and storytelling through possum skin art, the activities are designed to spark imagination and offer a deeper understanding of Country, culture and creative expression. Children can also take part in fun and inclusive dance workshops with the Budja Budja Butterfly Dance Group, Brolga Dance Academy, and more.
Highlights:
The Little Mobs Tent opens at 12pm on Saturday 5 July and 10.30am on Sunday 6 July. No bookings are required, though parent / guardian supervision is essential during participation and parents must show evidence of paid entry to the Art Fair.
