Ena Malibu is a proud Yolŋu woman and emerging artist based on Awabakal and Worimi Country, Newcastle. With roots in North East Arnhem Land, and Turkish and Kurdish heritage, Ena fuses cultural influences into a haunting blend of dark tropical, indie neo-soul. Accompanied by electric guitar and ethereal vocals, she creates an immersive soundscape. For this performance, Ena appears as a duo, layering harmonies and instrumentation to deepen her rich, contemporary expression of ancestral storytelling.
