Artful and Art Yarns Community Day

Join the Spring Art and Dementia Community Day to find out more about the MCA’s Artful and bangawarra Art Yarns programs, celebrate participants’ creativity and help raise awareness of dementia in our community.

This event is open to everyone – past and new participants, families, friends and drop-by visitors. It will feature a presentation of creative work by participants and MCA artist-educators, speakers from the dementia care and aged care sector and a small exhibition of work by Artful alumnus Brian O’Rourke.

Brian’s exhibition will remain on display throughout September as part of Dementia Awareness Month and will be available to view by appointment.
