Tailored for adults who are blind or have low vision
Gain a deeper insight into the themes and artworks in the 24th Biennale of Sydney at the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia. Tailored for adults who are blind or have low vision, this tour includes informal discussions and creative activities using a range of tactile objects.
Following the tour, participants are invited to join the artist educators for tea and coffee.

What to expect
- Seating and light refreshments provided.
- Only southbound traffic is allowed through George Street. If you are arriving by car or taxi, the driver will need to loop through The Rocks in order to drop you off at the MCA George Street entrance.
- A water bowl for Guide Dogs is available at the Level 1 information desk and there is a green space (Tallawoladah Lawn) nearby, located at the MCA's Circular Quay entrance.
Program
10.30am: Meet artist educators at the Level 1 information desk.
10.30am–12pm: Tour the 24th Biennale of Sydney and participate in conversations about selected artworks.
12–12.30pm: Tour concludes. Join optional art-making activities with light refreshments on Level 3.
12.30pm: Program concludes.

Wearing a Hidden Disabilities Sunflower lanyard or wristband discreetly indicates to people around you, including trained staff, that you may need additional support, time or understanding. The scheme allows people to choose to be visible when they want to be.
