The MCA's Light Nights Silent Disco smashes into Vivid Sydney on the first two Fridays of Vivid, 22 and 29 May – transforming the Museum’s iconic Foundation Hall into an after-dark playground of sound, light and moving image.

Put on your headphones and choose your own audio adventure. Three live DJs will curate simultaneous soundtracks featuring crowd-pleasers, guilty pleasures, club bangers and sing-along anthems from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s and whatever’s hot right now!

Inside, we’re extending the impact of celebrated Sāmoan/Australian artist Angela Tiatia’s work Vaiola, which is illuminating the exterior of the MCA as part of Vivid. Three large screens will display selected videos from Tiatia's remarkable body of work – Narcissus (2019), The Pearl (2021) and The Dark Current (2023).

This is art that moves. Literally.
