Artoure Contemporary Art presents Michael Wolff — boy
Being surrounded by art is a necessary part of Michael Wolff’s wellbeing. His collection is thoughtfully curated and integrated into his living spaces — a treasure trove of functional art objects, paintings and sculpture. Michael’s home is a joy to visit and an incredible document of one person’s inspired way of living with art.
Michael’s collection and accumulated understanding of Australian contemporary art began with his first purchase aged 16. Since then works have primarily been collected through galleries, and directly with artists — usually through personal connections.
Michael’s collection, as you can see below, focuses on portraiture and equine art — closely related to his work in fashion, high level equitation and horse breeding.
Head to Nurses Walk for his first solo exhibition.
Meet Michael Wolff at the opening party, 6 — 8pm, Friday 26 August
Exhibition is open daily, 11.00am — 6.00pm until Monday 5 September (Closed 29 — 30 August)
