Smoking Ceremony and Welcome to Country

To symbolize the start of NAIDOC week, we are hosting a welcome to the country and smoking ceremony.

The Welcome to the Country will be given by a traditional owner of the land to acknowledge and show respect to First Nations custodians past and present.

Next the Smoking Ceremony will ward off bad spirits and clear a path for a brighter future.

Jannawi will then perform a traditional dance.
