ANZAC Day
On April 25 1915, the Australian New Zealand Army Corp set out to capture the Gallipoli Peninsula in Turkey. The Diggers suffered heavy loss of life but their bravery left a lasting legacy which we still commemorate every year on ANZAC day.
After dawn services in the nearby Sydney CBD, The Rocks will host a number of events to commemorate the ANZACs including a hearty diggers breakfast, an art exhibition, live music, marching bands, and more.

The Gallipoli Art Prize
Now in its 20th year, The Gallipoli Art Prize invites artists to respond to the broad themes of loyalty, respect, love of country, courage and comradeship. The $20,000 prize money is awarded to the artist who best depicts these special qualities.
The Gallipoli Art Prize Organising Committee invites you step inside and view the 2025 winner, highly commended and finalists.
