Take the stage and unleash your inner musician in prime position under the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Step into a world where music belongs to everyone.
At the heart of this beautiful vision is Yantra De Vilder, a gifted composer, accomplished pianist, and passionate music advocate. Yantra lovingly restores, gifts and reinvents unwanted pianos in public spaces for the community to enjoy as part of her initiative 'Pianos for the People.'
Experience the joy firsthand at Dawes Point Park, where a charming piano now invites you to play. This delightful instrument, a testament to Yantra's dedication, offers a unique opportunity for spontaneous musical expression. Whether you're a seasoned musician or simply curious to tinker with the keys, this public piano is an open invitation to create and connect through the universal language of music.
Open from 6am to 10pm daily. Come and let your melodies drift across the park, share a tune with friends, or simply bask in the impromptu concerts that unfold. If the piano cover is on simply take it off and please put it back on when finished playing.
