The freshest local produce is celebrated to create menus that are a true reflection of modern Australian dining today.

Dine in the Sydney Sky: The menu

Altitude’s menu is created seasonally by Executive Sous Chef Michele Menegazzi and his team, with sustainability as its key focus. Behind each menu, you’ll find at least one native Australian ingredient and an artisan passionate about their harvest.

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Australia’s unique flavours and finest produce form the seed of inspiration behind the menus. The dining experience is enhanced by a thoughtful wine list which was awarded a prestigious 3 Glass rating from Australia’s Wine List of the Year Awards, 2020.

Altitude’s glass jewel box of a private dining room literally ‘floats’ 36 levels above the harbour, accommodating up to 18 guests. The space also sets a romantic scene for marriage proposals and celebrations.

Getting to Altitude Restaurant

Getting to the Altitude Restaurant is easy, it’s located in the magnificent Shangri-la Hotel on Level 36, Cumberland Street in The Rocks.  Enjoy sumptuous dining and spectacular views of Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Whether you’re travelling by ferry, train, light rail or foot:

Ferry: take the ferry to Circular Quay and you’re only five minutes walk away.
Train: both Circular Quay and Town Hall stops are a short walk away.
Light rail: the L2 Randwick line is a great way to get to Altitude Restaurant.
Driving: there is paid street parking and various parking stations in the area.
